The rug process.

When we moved into our new flat we did, as any freshly moved-in-together couple does – a two hour all inclusive trip to the Museum of Modern Living (ikea).

In a tired shoppers frenzy, we reached the final Scandi exhibition of rugs, knowing that at this point we didn’t care enough to do it right…

In our home, it’s safe to say that I ecstatically filled every magnolia wall with art. But four months later, our bang average, beige carpets covering our bang average linoleum wooden floors, I knew that these £40 boring carpets were filling out space.

So I dyed them. Painted them in acrylic paint. Washed them, for research, and have now uploaded them on my shop for sale.

Maybe they’re not for you. Maybe you’re saving for the real deal kilim vibe, or maybe you are like me and want something colourful, fun and unique that would make any space cosy. Rented or not.

I will only ever charge for my time and materials on any project and would jump for any chance to design something specific to the space you have.
